Colorado Lottery - Silver Celebration Sweepstakes

Who Can Enter

1. Entrants must be legal Colorado residents who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.

2. Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., Cactus Marketing, the Colorado Lottery, Windish RV, the Colorado Division of Wildlife and Colorado State Parks (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter

3. 3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Only one entry per person per week. The giveaway begins when posted on 12:01 AM on Monday, February 11th, 2008 and all entries must be received by 11:59 PM local time on Thursday, July 31st.

4. 4. To enter, go to the Contest Page at www.myfoxcolorado.com, click on the Colorado Lottery Silver Celebration entry form and provide all information requested, including the answer to that particular week’s trivia question. Entry constitutes an assignment to Sponsor of all intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for broadcast, online posting, or in any other media, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation.

5. 5. Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

6. 6. One First Prize winner per week will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries having the correct answers to that week’s trivia questions each Friday throughout the duration of the contest. Twenty-five entries per week will be selected for the Second Prize from among all entries for that particular week and announced each Friday throughout the duration of the contest. One Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all First Prize winners by being randomly given the winning key to the grand prize.

The Prize(s)

7. (a) First Prize winners will receive one annual Colorado State Parks pass (valued at $60), a two-day stay in a cabin or yurt in a Colorado State Park (valued at $120) and a subscription to Colorado Outdoors magazine (valued at $10.50), for a total value of $190.50. In addition, each First Prize winner will receive an opportunity to possibly open a 2008 Keystone Passport 280BH travel trailer provided by Windish RV on August 15, 2008, at a time to be determined by Sponsor.(b) Twenty-five weekly Second Prize winners will receive $25 worth of Lotto tickets and a Prize Packet from the Colorado Division of Wildlife and Colorado Lottery which includes one Colorado Lottery water bottle ($8), one key chain ($5), one lanyard ($3),one sunscreen ($2), one pen ($1.50), one camera ($10), one t-shirt ($15), one compass ($5), one carabiner ($3), one pencil ($1.50), one whistle ($3), one wildlife viewing guide($12), one hunting guide ($5) and a fishing guide ($5). Total value of the Second Prize package is $104. (c) The holder of the Prize Key that opens the trailer will be selected as the winner of the Grand Prize, consisting of the trailer and a fishing rod package in a key turning event to be held on August 15th, 2008. Approximate retail value of the trailer is $26,530. Approximate value of the Fishing Rod package is $400. Total Grand Prize value is $26,930.

8. (a) First Prize weekly winners will be notified by phone. First Prize winners must bring valid photo ID to KDVR-TV 100 E. Speer Blvd Denver, CO in order to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release, which must be received no later than 5 PM on the Friday following their selection. (b) Second Prize weekly winners will be notified by e-mail and will receive a winner’s packet via U.S. mail. Second Prize winners must bring a valid photo ID to any Colorado Lottery office and complete and sign a Certification of Eligibility and Release in order to claim their prize before August 29, 2008. Second Prize winners can locate the nearest Colorado Lottery office at www.coloradolottery.com. (c) TheGrand Prize winner will be notified upon successfully opening the trailer with his or her Prize Key on August 15th, 2008. Winner must bring valid photo ID to KDVR-TV 100 E. Speer Blvd Denver, CO in order to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release, which must be received no later than 5 PM on August 11th, 2008. First Prize winner must be present at the August 15th event to be eligible to win the Grand Prize. (d) If any First Prize or Second Prize winner cannot be reached, or if a First Prize or Second prize winner does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, that prize will not be awarded. If the Grand Prize winner does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, an alternate Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing.

9. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

10. The winners are responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules

11. Only one prize will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 180-day period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered. First Prize winners must claim the prize by within seven days of notification, and Second Prize winners must claim their prize by August 29, 2008 or the prize will be forfeited.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

12. Odds of winning a First Prize depend on the number of correct entries received. Odds of winning a Second Prize depend on the total number of entries received. Odds of a First Prize winning the Grand Prize are approximately 1 in 25.

13. These giveaway rules are available at www.myfoxcolorado.com, and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at KDVR-TV 100 E. Speer Blvd. Denver, CO 80203 through August 29, 2008.

14. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after August 29, 2008 to: KDVR-TV 100 E. Speer Blvd. Denver, CO 80203.

15. This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.

16. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at www.myfoxcolorado.com.
